Press Release Body = The UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, at the inauguration of Gitex 2006, remarked how uncomfortable he was with the eServices provided by Government and business organizations in the UAE. The one- day conference aims at sharing best practices and discussing how existing eServices and upcoming projects can ensure and develop through networks, partnerships, and cooperation between various stakeholders. Speakers will discuss requirements for the successful implementation of e-services, meeting the needs of end-users, strategies for improving the quality and effectiveness of a service, and how to attract more and more ordinary citizens to use eServices.
A recent case study conducted by the International Telecommunication Union showed that 59% of sixty countries involved were facing infrastructural constraints while tackling with advanced eService implementation in their Governments and businesses.
eService Project Managers and decision makers attending the conference will understand major components that make an e-service valuable to the end user and what is involved in creating a co-operation between administrations, industry, users for the success of eService projects.
